Rev. Preciouse Wilson

My name is Preciouse A. Wilson. I have a wonderful family. My wife is Loretta Wilson. I have two children, Elijah Wilson and Faith Wilson. Loretta is a registered nurse. Elijah graduated from East Carolina University in May, and Faith is entering her second year at Winston-Salem State University.

As the associate pastor at First United Methodist, I am dedicated to providing compassionate care to our congregation. I am committed to visiting those who are sick or homebound, offering comfort and support in their homes and within the community as required. This vital aspect of my ministry allows me to connect with individuals in need and provide spiritual and emotional assistance wherever it is needed.

I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, a Bachelor of Nursing degree, and a Master of Divinity degree. One of my favorite scriptures is Philippians 4:13, which states, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”

In my free time, I enjoy watching soccer matches. Additionally, I love indulging in comedy shows and stand-up performances. I find that laughter is a great way to unwind and de-stress. When I'm not watching sports or comedy, I immerse myself in a wide range of literary genres. Reading allows me to explore different worlds, expand my knowledge, and escape into captivating stories. Whether fiction, nonfiction, or poetry, literature always has something new and exciting to discover.
