Rebecca is proud to serve as the Director of First UMC Preschool, a journey she began as a preschool parent that evolved into becoming a teacher before taking on the roles of Assistant Director and now Director. A graduate of East Carolina University, Rebecca earned her Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Relations, specializing in Child Life. Her professional experience includes a valuable internship at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital.

Rebecca is happily married to Seth, and together they are raising two active sons, Luke and Benjamin. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys cheering on her boys at their various athletic events. An outdoor enthusiast, Rebecca loves spending warm months on the lake, whether wakeboarding, tubing or slalom skiing. Travel is another passion of hers, and she relishes the opportunity to explore new places with friends and family.
