Anthony Pero is an accomplished worship leader and musician, with over 25 years of experience leading congregations large and small. He is married to Jessica, and they have four children together who all attend Piedmont Charter here in Gastonia; Aria, Evie, Lucas and Levi.

Anthony grew up in Milwaukee, WI and studied Vocal Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, spending his college summers touring the United States, Europe and South America with the Celebrant Singers as a principal vocalist. After college, Anthony worked full-time in church music ministry from 2001 until 2009 when he transitioned to a career in video production and web development, continuing to lead worship part-time for various congregations.

Anthony and his family moved to Gastonia in the summer of 2016, where he works full-time for UNC Charlotte as a Web Developer. In his down time, Anthony enjoys watching sports, especially college football, the Milwaukee Bucks, and anything Wisconsin Badgers.
