MINISTRY AREA TEAMS:
These three ministry areas serve as the umbrella groups for the ministries of FUMC. Each ministry area is chaired by a layperson, who partners with relevant clergy and staff to establish the vision and strategy for the ministries within that area. Organizing in this way ensures that all ministries operate in collaboration with each other and in alignment with the vision of FUMC.
WORSHIP & ARTS MINISTRY AREA
The Worship & Arts Ministry Area is responsible for visioning and collaborating with the pastors and staff around the worship life of FUMC and the various ways we engage with the arts. The leaders in this area help FUMC pursue passionate, excellent worship in a variety of styles and in ways that engage all ages. They also work to strengthen the connection with the arts, so that all might experience God’s beauty and creativity.

NURTURE MINISTRY AREA:
The Nurture Ministry Area is responsible for helping people connect with FUMC. Ranging from the hospitality we show guests to the ways we help long-time members connect with the ministries of the church; the leaders in this area want to make sure we are helping all people deepen their connection with the church community. This team also works to ensure that people in need of care and support of various types can find that in the FUMC community.

DISCIPLESHIP/MISSION MINISTRY AREA:
The Discipleship/Mission Ministry Area is responsible for collaborating with pastors and staff to shape the ways we help all ages grow in their relationship with God and sense of belonging to the church community. These leaders provide leadership for ministry strategies for children, youth, and adults, so that FUMC will continue to be a community in which people grow in faith and love. Missional Engagement is also an important aspect of FUMC to serve in the local community and beyond.
